The current generation Acura TSX is offered in two versions, the base model TSX and the high performance oriented Acura TSX Type S. The Type S is more powerful than the base model that combines performance and styling in single package.

The base model is powered by a standard I-4 engine that produces power up to 201 hp, whereas the other version, Acura TSX Type S is powered by a V6 engine that can produce power up to 280 hp. The engine in the Type S can be mated to either manual or automatic transmission.
